Question by Anime♥Fanatic: Can an American be an interpreter in Japan?
I am learning the Japanese language in high and I’m planning to in college, as well. Does it pay well? Would an artist be a good career along with it?Do I have to be fluent in another language besides Japanese and, obviously, English?

But of course!I know germans, frenchmen/women, spanish citizens and a few italians that have become Japanese interpreters, so why not an American? It can pay extremely well, as interpreters are always in demand. Think of Toyota, or Nintendo. They need people to help with america/japan transfers, ideas and conferences! As for art, I say go for it. Japanese culture may inspire you 😀
