Question by Axinia: how can i become an English/Russian interpreter?
I was wondering what courses or certification is needed in order to become an English/Russian court interpreter. I’m fluent in both languages. I was born in Russia, lived in the US for 12 years. I have a high interest in this field but don’t know where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of community colleges will have the interpreter program. It is like 15 credits of things like medical and law interpreting, etc, which you will complete part-time in two semesters. Look around to schools in your area, you can do an online search. The only requirements is an advanced knowledge of the language, so you are good to go.
