The third thing to remember in any negotiation is that you both have one thing in common: the customer and the provider want things to be on time (the translation for them, pay for you). Never promise a deadline you can’t meet, and while customers often want the impossible (translation is the last link in the production line of communication, and deadlines are always tight), you have to teach them what can be done and how. So be polite in every circumstance. Always keep your cool. ©AMD
