Question by Ashley: What’s the better college to am if you desire to be a sign language interpreter?
I’ve been taking a sign language class at my current high school and love it. I get really good grades in the class and my teacher, who is deaf, want my friend and I to be interpreters. I think it’d be an interesting experience to travel and interpret for the hearing and non-hearing.

You may want to find some knowledgable Deaf people who are involved in interpreter education and get their opinion on a good program. You will also have to consider if you want to move out of the area or attend closer to home. Also, here in Canada, many colleges and universities publish their success rate in graduates finding a job in their field. That may help.Good luck!
