Question by Altaris: What’s the difference between interpretation and JIT (Just In Time) Compilation?
I don’t get how they’re different from one another since both translate the source code into machine code at runtime. Please be as technical as possible! Thank you!

Depends on the context. JIT for visual studio is used to compile changes made while debugging and appends to the exe. After the run it is rebuilt. But, in general JIT results in a complete compile & link before the software starts running. There is opportunity for optimization but also incurs upfront cost.Interpretation each line is compiled as required.
